Litigation Support

Apartment Building Litigation Support, Auckland, New Zealand

Compusoft Engineering were engaged as structural engineering experts for legal proceedings in the review of original as-built drawings to verify the existence, significance, and possible remedies for deficiencies in the structure of an existing apartment building in Auckland, NZ.  The assessment was considered in relation to design standards that were current at the time of construction of the building. 

Commercial Tower Litigation Support, Christchurch, New Zealand

Compusoft Engineering were engaged as structural engineering experts to review the conclusions reached by other structural engineers regarding the repairability of a 19 storey reinforced concrete commercial tower in Christchurch, New Zealand following the February 2011 Christchurch earthquake.  In particular Compusoft Engineering was asked to evaluate the quanta of damage that occurred during the various earthquakes and aftershocks that affected the Tower.

Compusoft Engineering were requested to prepare a report summarising the building repair strategy with the purpose of the report being to guide pre-trial discussions.

CTV Building Collapse, Royal Commission Expert Witness, Christchurch, New Zealand

Compusoft Engineering acted as expert witness during the Canterbury Royal Commission of Enquiry into the Canterbury Earthquakes. 

Compusoft Engineering provided expert advice regarding the analysis and expected performance of the 6 storey concrete framed CTV building in Christchurch, New Zealand, which tragically collapsed during the February 22 Christchurch earthquake.
